AT &T customers will soon be able to get their game on with the PlayStation
Vita, as the carrier announced pricing and availability date today.
Shipping on February 22, the 3G/ Wi-Fi model of the Vita will cost $299, with the choice of two data plans. The
$14.99 plan offers 250MB data, and a $25 plan gives you 2GB . Both plans will be month-to- month and will not
require a long-term contract.
The PS Vita will launch with a number of social networking apps. This includes location-based app called Near that
will show what other Vita owners are playing nearby. With Near, you'll also be gift game-related features to other
users. Meanwhile, LiveArea is an interactive interface that gives you access to the PlayStation Network.
