Motorola unveils Defy Mini XT320 and Motoluxe XT615




Motorola has unveiled two new Android phones – the Motoluxe (XT615), and Defy Mini (XT320). Both are mid- range handsets, and are expected to hit shelves worldwide starting February. No pricing information has been revealed for now however. Let us take a look at the two devices

Motorola Defy Mini XT320 The Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread-based Defy Mini should be just a sturdy and environment proof as its predecessor, and has a Corning Gorilla Glass display. It weighs in at 107 grams, is 12.6mm thick, and has a 1,650 mAh battery with 10 hours of talktime, and 504 hours of standby time It features modest specifications, with a 600MHz CPU, 3.2-inch 320x480 pixel TFT capacitive touchscreen, 512MB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, a 3.15MP camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, and such connectivity options as 3G with HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n with hotspot/DLNA/direct functionality, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP GPS with A-GPS support, stereo FM with RDS, microUSB port, and 3.5mm jack.

Motorola Motoluxe XT615 The Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread-based Motoluxe is a higher-end device, similar to features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480x854 pixels, an 800MHz Scorpion C ROM, 512MB of RAM, an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a front-facing VGA camera. battery rated to deliver up to 6.5 hours of talktime, and 450 hours of standby time Other features include a document viewer, compass, and such connectivity options Wi-Fi b/g/n with DLNA/direct/hotspot functionality, GPS with A-GPS support, Blueto high-speed microUSB, and a 3.5mm jack. The Motorola Motoluxe XT615 weighs in at of 9.9mm.
